No Spend March - How did I do?
So it's April. What did I learn from my no-spend March? Quite a lot actually!
But first where did I go wrong, what was I tempted by and did I have any money wins?
Money Fails ❌
No Spend March
As I mentioned in my 24 for 24 post I didn't save what I need last year for a kitchen, but can't live with my current kitchen for much longer.
So drastic times take drastic measures. To be fair cutting down spending for one month is hardly drastic.
Some rules:
My "24 for 24" List
This is the fourth time I am writing up this list and sharing on the blog. I really like this framework as life admin and bucket list items can be mixed on the same list.
If you would like to learn more or get some tips Gretchen Rubin has a very helpful article.
My "23 for 2023" List - How did I do?
Wow, it's nearly mid-February - how?? But last year I only wrote this post in June, so it's actually still very early in the year for me 😂
1. Finish decorating my bedroom. ✅ Done. It took me much longer than I thought, but I am very happy with my new floors, storage and curtains. Plus everything that's supposed to be on the wall is on the wall - win!
Design my summer 2023
Here in the Northern Hemisphere it's nearly time for summer to start (unless you're a meteorologist in which case summer has already begun).
For my sake I'm going to stick with the start date of 21 June as that means this post is actually early! Or at least not late :-)
